It was a pleasure to host so many of you online for Mining Indaba Virtual, and to welcome many new people to our Mining Indaba community too.
Thousands of you tuned in across the two days to watch the CPD accredited sessions which included exclusive presidential keynotes from South Africa, Sierra Leone and Botswana. The multi-stakeholder discussions with Africa’s most prevalent CEOs and influential figures tackled pertinent topics including gold, green metals, ESG investing, 4IR and private-public collaboration, all of which invoked a reel of engaging questions from the audience. The chat box too was alight with greetings from across all four corners of the world and it was once again a delight to bring the mining industry together to help regrow and reignite mining in Africa.
