Len Kolff, COO of Ironridge Resources impressed the judges with their entry: lithium pegmatite discovery project in Ghana, and emerged as the ultimate Battlefield winner. It was a close-run competition; however, the lithium project secured the title. The 2.0 Mtpa production operation with a high-grade resource and coarse spodumene won over the judges, producing an average 295,000tpa of SC6% of Li20.

The platform famed for pitching Africa’s hottest junior mining companies against each other returned in 2021 but this time, with a twist. Hosted as part of the Virtual Investment Programme, the Investment Battlefield took place online in the lead up to and during the programme.

For the first time ever it wasn't just the expert panel of investor judges who will chose the finalists. We asked the audience to vote on who they think should go through to the next round and go on to be crowned 2021 champion.
